Betulina’s ram is Solid with a capital S. Nice wide back, straight legs and built really well. He is black but carries brown and spots, so could potentially throw a nice variety depending on the ewe he is bred to. His fleece is hard to characterize at this age, but looks very consistent.

This is Black Walnut’s only lamb from Whispering Pines. His sire had a wonderful dense and soft fleece. He is black, and carries brown. Superb ram out of Leyland. Will be modified and will be able to pass that on to his lambs. He is probably our finest ram lamb this year. Very soft, silky, and lustrous. It is very difficult to characterize fleece at this stage in a lamb’s development, but we are very excited about this little guy’s prospects. His fleece is very uniform, very tightly crimped, and dense. He has very striking smirslet markings and a nice conformation. He is on the small side, but again, this may change as he ages. He may carry moorit (both parents do), and may also carry the modifier. Very nice!

Peony’s ewe is a twin, with the rare gulmoget pattern. She is modified and carries spots, so offers a nice set of possibilities for color and flashy markings. Her fleece will be longer length with a beautiful luster. She has an extremely rare combination of conformation, color, pattern, and spotting.
This ram is larger than his twin but has similar fleece characteristics in addition to being a gulmoget! His markings are very well defined! He’ll also have a full set of horns. Both rams have nice tails. Will throw black, moorit, and gulmoget lambs and some will be modified!

This ram is very striking and his fleece is really nice. It’s not terribly crimpy at his point, but is very lustrous and soft! I also like that it has length like his mother’s fleece. He’ll have a full rack. He could end up shaela as his father is mioget (Clover). Carries moorit.
